I started dabbling in the kitchen when I was very young like 5-6 years old. My Polish and Italian grandma would teach me so many things especially never measuring anything just a little bit of this and a dash of that! They taught me to use my senses to cook and bake! Always taste every step of the way too! Then my parents divorced when I was 11 and when I went with my dad on the weekends, he let me go grocery shopping! He sent me with an open mind, willing spirit, and his checkbook coupled with my creative abilities my mind began to fl ow!!! I learned to make new things and was daring enough to try some new grocery items each week! I also learned to take leftovers from meals I made and make new meals!!! Loved preparing every part of the meals from appetizers, soups, salads, main courses and of course dessert!!! It brought about a part of me that I had no idea was even in there!!! So, over the years this hobby grew into a passion to be creative in the culinary world! I did get married down the road and the culinary was being quiet in me but when my children were young, we would throw birthday parties and I would cater the entire event! Our friends and family loved it. Then folks started asking me to throw parties for them and it grew into a catering company. Then I grew even more as I left the catering company to get some more culinary skills working for some larger culinary corporations and learning more yet again! Growing in my passion to create and give folks joy while eating some deliciousness! I then started Mamma Mish’s in 2016 and continued the legacy of creating amazing dishes, sweets, and an atmosphere of peace and serenity for folks. If is also a blessing to train some other folks to do the same! It’s a blessing to provide food, faith, and fellowship for our patrons. We incorporate a Great God into all of what we do! For with Him all things are possible. Always believe that!
