About the Author

Dr. Breanna M. Fulton is an East St. Louis native and the eldest of three (Fun fact: The illustrator is her sister!) Breanna received her BA in English Literature from Alcorn State University, MA in School Counseling, and an EdD in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Behavioral Health from Grand Canyon University. With an eye toward improving the educational landscape for children of color, Breanna has been working as an educator in Memphis since 2014.
