This is really two books in one, my story and that of my late Mom. Our stories tell of forces beyond our control, the Holocaust, Muscular Dystrophy, and how we coped with them. Our dreams, hopes, our wishes were changed, altered forever. Yet, they were replaced with new ideas, different choices, as we reinvented ourselves time again. This is a story of two women, of two different generation, who together and separately, overcame obstacles to create remarkable things, with a vision and ambition to make the world better, in our own sense of change and progress.
