In my 70 years, grieved and cast aside,
Struggling for acceptance, with tears I've cried.
But in the depths of despair, a light shone through,
I found solace in the Lord, His love so true.

Tired and weary, I long for His embrace,
Yearning for the day He returns in grace.
For He is the one who sees my heart's plea,
The only one who truly loves and sets me free.

Through the trials of life, I've searched high and low,
Yet He remained steadfast, His love on me bestowed.
In His presence, I find peace and tranquility,
A refuge from the world's relentless hostility.

So as the years pass and my strength grows weak,
I hold on to the hope of His return I'll seek.
For in His arms, I'll find eternal rest,
Where all my worries and sorrows will be laid to rest.
