About the Author

Author and Phenomenologist Stephen Lancaster (North Carolina) has been involved in the field of paranormal research since 1997, conducting investigative work for politicians, military facilities, the board of education, museums, commercial locations, businesses, television, and civilian properties. His research is recognized by the US government.

Stephen Lancaster was raised in Lonaconing, Maryland. Following college in 1998, he relocated to the Carolinas. He would eventually make his home a small town in North Carolina.

Over the years he has released five books on the subject, including: Paranormal Investigator (2009), True Casefiles of a Paranormal Investigator (2012), Dark Spirits (2016), Norman: The Doll That Needed to Be Locked Away (2018), and Norman 2: The True Story of a Possessed Dolls Revenge.

Stephen has appeared on popular paranormal network programs such as, My Ghost Story: Articulate Apparition, My Ghost Story: Paranormal Pooch, Shocking…Scary…Paranormal Videos, A Haunting: Norman the Doll, A Haunting: Bottled Spirits, and many more.

In 2018, he produced and directed the Amazon Prime documentary, Fantome: The Haunting of Brentwood Wine Bistro.

In 2010, Lancaster funded and produced a pilot for a proposed paranormal show with the goal of educating children on the supernatural world entitled, Kid Paranormal. The show chronicled an eleven year old girl, alongside her father, investigating paranormal cases for her peers. The show was optioned by a reputable production company, however Stephen declined the contract due to personal reasons.

Fourteen years later, Lancaster would swing back around to his goal of educating children on paranormal research with the beginning of a book series entitled, Kid Paranormal: A Kid’s Guide to Ghost Hunting.

Stephen Lancaster is well-known in the paranormal community with his brutally honest, tough-love persona and extensive research into the field of paranormal research. His work has been cataloged in the Library of Congress.

He is co-founder of the Shadow Initiative; a paranormal group, podcast and directive with the goal of professional research and awareness.
