Notes From Your Bookseller

Carole Boston Weatherford (RESPECT: Aretha Franklin, the Queen of Soul) and Floyd Cooper (Juneteenth for Mazie) created a powerful acknowledgment of this haunting and significant moment in our nation's past. The Tulsa Race Massacre was largely suppressed and remains an overlooked chapter of racial violence. Weatherford and Cooper optimistically offer hope for a better future.
